Kemal Restaurant InteriorKEMAL at the Cambridge Restaurant is Horley’s newest and finest Restaurant that hosts the locally renowned Chef-Patron Kemal whose extensive menu of Mediterranean dishes spans Turkish, French and Italian cuisine and all are freshly prepared, giving a high quality and exciting dining experience.

After its recent takeover in 2007, the hotel and the restaurant have undergone a tremendous refurbishment and now has a new, fresh feel whilst maintaining the old period features which make it a beautiful building to dine and stay in.

There is also the option for outside terrace seating for those who wish to dine al fresco in the warm summer evenings.

Kemal the ChefAbout the Chef

Kemal, also the co-owner of the Cambridge Hotel began his Head Chef career at the Hilton Hotel in Instanbul, then moved to the UK to produce great food for guests and functions at the Hickmet Hotel (now known as the Gatwick Manor in Crawley) and then the Birch Hotel (in Haywards Heath).

He then branched out to his own restaurant, Hunters Restaurant, located in Burgess Hill, which he ran for over a decade, and of which was one of the most well know eateries in the Burgess Hill area.

The kitchen for Kemal is the heart of the operations at Cambridge Hotel so he does not spare any expense to source and prepare perfect food each time for his guests.
